The ongoing investigation into the shocking Renukaswamy murder case has taken a major turn after the Kamakshipalya police arrested three die-hard fans of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa for allegedly threatening a key witness. The arrested individuals have been identified as Venu, Suhas, and Puneeth. Investigators revealed that Puneeth actively managed the "D Company" fan page on social media, while Suhas and Venu are members of the Darshan Fans Association in Tumakuru.
The trio targeted Sandeep, who is listed as the 49th witness in the high-profile murder case. According to police sources, the accused lured Sandeep to a specific location under the pretext of having a conversation. Once he arrived, they forced him into a car and drove him around while exerting severe pressure on him not to testify against Darshan in court. When Sandeep refused to back down, Suhas allegedly used the jailed actor's name to issue a direct death threat.
Following the harrowing incident, Sandeep reported the intimidation tactics directly to the court. Taking immediate note of the threat, the police provided tight security for the witness and launched a manhunt for the suspects, leading to their swift arrest. The Kamakshipalya police are currently subjecting the three accused to intense interrogation.
