Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and military forces have announced continued strikes on US military installations across the Gulf region, claiming responsibility for attacks on multiple strategic assets.
According to state media reports, the IRGC stated that it destroyed an American missile defense radar system and an F-15 fighter jet in Jordan during Operation Nasser 2, an offensive aimed at degrading US radar and air defense capabilities using missiles and drones. The IRGC also reported that a military base in Jordan's Rukban area was targeted, resulting in several US military casualties that Washington has allegedly concealed, with further details promised soon.
In Bahrain, the IRGC claimed it launched cruise missiles to destroy an Amazon data center office used by American forces, framing the strike as retaliation for a US military attack on a civilian facility under construction in Dar Khoein. Meanwhile, the Iranian military announced that under Operation Lightning, drone strikes were carried out against three US military bases in Kuwait, specifically targeting Camp Arifjan, Camp Buehring, and the Ali Al Salem Air Base, which serve as critical hubs for US logistics, troop operations, and surveillance flights in Southwest Asia. These retaliatory actions follow previous statements from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), which confirmed that American forces had launched new strikes against Iranian military capabilities used to target commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz under the direction of Commander-in-Chief Donald Trump.
