Karwar: A car suddenly burst into flames while driving near Sadanand Palace in Shejwad on Tuesday, sparking a brief moment of panic in the area.
The vehicle belonged to Jeevan Pawar and was heading from Karwar towards his home when the incident happened. The fire broke out while the car was still moving, creating an alarming scene for a short while.

Thankfully, the driver, Jeevan Pawar, reacted quickly. He managed to stop the vehicle and jump out safely, escaping without any injuries.
Local residents rushed to the spot and immediately began trying to put out the flames. The fire brigade was also informed and rushed to the location.
The exact cause of the fire is not yet clear, and authorities have not ruled out any possibilities, including a possible mechanical or electrical fault. No one was hurt in the incident, and the fire was eventually brought under control.
This unusual roadside blaze in the Shejwad area of Karwar left many passers-by stunned, though quick action by the driver and locals prevented any major damage or injury.
