A tragic head-on collision between a lorry and a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus near Kanchinabagilu in Ankola taluk has resulted in the deaths of two individuals, with several others injured. The incident occurred earlier today, sending shockwaves through the local community.

The lorry, which was en route from Ankola to Yellapur, collided with the KSRTC bus, leading to the immediate deaths of the lorry driver and a bus passenger. The injured were promptly transported to Ankola Taluk Hospital for treatment. The exact number of injuries remains unclear as medical teams continue to assess the situation.
