Karwar: A sudden fire broke out at Desertino Café in Karwar, causing panic among customers and staff who were present at the time.

Although a major tragedy was narrowly avoided, the incident resulted in property damage worth several lakh rupees. For a brief period, the café was filled with fear and confusion as people rushed to safety.
Fire and emergency personnel rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information and carried out a swift operation to bring the fire completely under control. Their timely response helped prevent the situation from turning into a major disaster.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Concerned officials have inspected the site, and further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
