Karwar, July 28: Three people escaped with their lives after a car crashed into a road divider near Khafri Temple in Kodibag, Karwar, on Tuesday.
According to police sources, the car was being driven by Pratik Kalgutkar, a resident of Chittakula, who was travelling from Karwar towards Chittakula when the accident occurred. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to slam into the central road divider with considerable force.
The impact extensively damaged the car and also caused damage to a section of the road divider. Despite the severity of the crash, all three occupants escaped without any loss of life.
Personnel from the Karwar Traffic Police visited the accident site, conducted an inspection, and initiated further legal proceedings to determine the exact cause of the accident.
