Bhatkal: Youths who had arrived for a wedding reception ceremony got into a dispute over parking, leading to a brawl right in the middle of the road. This incident occurred in front of Kasnum Marriage Hall in Hanifabad, within the jurisdiction of Heble Gram Panchayat in Bhatkal taluk.
During this street fight more than ten youths sustained injuries. The video of this clash has gone viral on social media platforms. Manjunath Lingareddy, Inspector of Police who lodged the suo moto compalaint has stated in his complaint that On 13-10-2025 at around 19:45 hrs, Shri Manjunath Angareddy, Police Inspector of Bhatkal Rural Police Station, on Monday approximately 16:45 hrs, the accused persons gathered in a group on a public road in front of Kasnum Marriage Hall in Hanifabad, Bhatkal. The accused engaged in a heated altercation, hurling abusive and obscene words at each other, and physically assaulted one another. When the inspector and his staff intervened to stop the fight, the accused disregarded their instructions, continued their verbal abuse and physical scuffle, caused injuries, and disrupted public peace. The complaint seeks appropriate legal action against the accused for these offenses.
