Karwar: A 29-year-old woman died after being hit by a bull while two bulls were fighting near Subhadra Hotel in Mallapur village of Karwar taluk, Uttara Kannada district, on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Rajeshwari (29), a resident of Mallapur. The incident occurred when she was returning home after work.
According to reports, two bulls were fighting near the hotel when one of them suddenly collided with Rajeshwari. She fell to the ground and sustained serious injuries in the impact.
Locals immediately rushed her to a hospital for treatment. However, she succumbed to her injuries despite medical efforts.
A case has been registered within the jurisdiction of Mallapur Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
