Karwar: Scooty Rider Dies on Spot in Head-On Crash with Bullet Bike Near RTO Office; Two KRIMS Medical Students Critically Injured
A fatal road accident occurred on National Highway 66 near the RTO office in Karwar, where a scooty carrying a mother and son collided with a Bullet motorcycle ridden by two students of Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences (KRIMS). The son on the scooty died instantly, while the two medical students sustained severe injuries.
he diseased have been identified as 15 years old Chirajeeva Ramanand Punji of Majali.
Sources said the scooty was traveling from Majali toward Karwar when the motorcycle rammed into it. The impact killed the son on the spot. The injured KRIMS students were rushed to Karwar Government Hospital for immediate treatment.
City police arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. The investigation is ongoing.
