Honnavar (Karnataka) :  A fatal road accident occurred near Ramatirtha Cross in Honnavar town on Wednesday evening, claiming the life of one person on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as Sunilkumar Santosh Gayakwad from Bidar district. He was reportedly residing in Kumta with his sister at the time of the incident.

The accident involved a collision between three motorcycles, resulting in Sunilkumar's immediate death. The other riders sustained injuries and have been admitted to Honnavar Government Hospital.

Honnavar police rushed to the scene and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered at Honnavar Police Station in connection with the incident.
