YELLAPUR: The body of a 23-year-old man, identified as Sagar Devadiga, was recovered from the Kaigadi River after he went missing during a picnic with friends two days ago. The incident occurred when Sagar, a resident of Yellapur, reportedly slipped and fell into the river, leading to his disappearance.
Local residents, including Ganapati Siddi, Ram Siddi, Venka Siddi, and Narayan Siddi, worked together to retrieve the body after it was spotted floating in the river. The deceased’s family has confirmed the identity of the body as Sagar Devadiga.
A case has been registered at the Yellapur Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
